The largest competition for young social entrepreneurs
Belgrade, 16 October – IsoBillboard, Zoundark and Dok tok were the projects declared winners of the largest competition for young people in social entrepreneurship, the Social Impact Award, held yesterday evening in Kombank Dvorana, under the all-day event Day of Social Enterprises – Youth Employment Promotion through Social Entrepreneurship. The audience award was won by the project Eco Plastic Homes, while the online community’s award went to the project Safe Road.
The Social Impact Award is the largest project dedicated to young people on the subject of social entrepreneurship. The award’s mission is to promote social entrepreneurship amongst youth, through education, incubation of ideas and competition.
The Day of Social Enterprises was organised by a project of the German Development Cooperation Youth Employment Promotion, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia and Smart Kolektiv. The partners of the conference are Reflektor Teatar and Social Impact Award Serbia, while the event was made possible by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Development and Cooperation (BMZ) through the German-Serbian Initiative for Sustainable Growth and Employment.
