“Women Empowerment and Free Legal Aid in the Western Balkans”

A two-day regional workshop “Economic empowerment of women and free legal aid in the Western Balkans” took place on the 19th and 20th of September in Skopje, North Macedonia.
Regional exchange and debate on access to justice, free legal aid and women entrepreneurs between Ministries of Justice, Agencies for Free Legal Aid, NGOs and Legal Clinics at the Law Faculties.
The right to free legal aid is instrumental for enhanced economic empowerment of women.
@MYLA presented the Policy paper on improving free legal aid systems in the Western Balkans for women entrepreneurs. The Ministries of Justice, Agencies for Free Legal Aid, Legal Clinics from the Law Faculties and NGOs debated on key challenges and possible solutions vis-à-vis utilization of FreeLegalAid for economic empowerment of women in the WesternBalkans.
