Media training on strategic communication in public and media relations and media appearances for spokespersons and media coordinators of the Specialized Anticorruption Units of the Higher Courts, Higher Public Prosecutor’s Offices and Courts of Appeal has been organized in Belgrade.
The aim of the seminar was to discuss practical issues related to the implementation of the Guidelines for Improvement communications with the media and the public of the Specialized Anticorruption Units, and reviews issues of importance for the work of spokespersons and media coordinators through case studies and actively participation in media workshops.
Lecturers at the seminar were judge Mrs. Ellen Best, former spokesperson of the Bremen District Court and member of the Radio Bremen Supervisory Board, and Mr. Andreas Neuman, journalist and consultant.
The activities were implemented within the “Facility Supporting Strengthening Rule of Law in Serbia”, jointly funded by the EU and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) – EU FOR FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION AND FOR FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS – implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ).
